Been doing more photography as you can tell. Been hoping for work to happen , but it seems to be really slow this year. I wish there was something else artistaclly I can do. Thought about going back to school for make-up, or CGI stuff, but that all cost money. I am hoping on competeing again at the LA fair this year. Maybe i will be reconized there for my photo's . Inspiration comes to me in ebbs and flows, but never constant. Hummm. Oh well, now you can see why i don't write that often. :D

Waiting for work to pick up. Kind of enjoy the time off, because then I can spend it doing my photgraphy.Meanwhile it has been good to be home so I can take care of things. Things have been kinda slow since I got back from Florda . Surprised my folks and had the best Christmas ever. Been taking alot of pictures as usual. This one is new. Keep telling myself to sculpt in the studio, but I have been so addicted to photography lately. It seems to keep me happy all day long. After I take a picture I mess with it on my computor. It has been very satisfying to do at the moment. I know I will get work soon, so I have bee taking it easy. More later- Bye.

Getting ready for the holidays and all seems good so far. Just a few more things to buy, and then pack them up to be shipped to my sisters house. She and I are planning a big surprise for my parents. Joey got a new job sculpting for the movie 'Spiderman 3'. He is working in the costume department sculpting the suit for Venem character.He is getting paid twice as much and he deserves it! I don't think I will get any work heading my way till after New years, but thats OK. Been taking alot of pictures and really becoming obsesive about it. I really love the results I am getting. Had a book printed up for Christmas presents for everyone. Joey saw it and about fell over. He couldn't believe how wonderful it turned out. Wish this photo was in it, but just took this tonight as the sun was setting. More later.

Been working hard, Had to work Saterday. been doing OK I guess. I don't mind the work because it pays, but it isn't real interesting or creative. Been doing alot of thinking about what next year will hold for me. I have some ideas for sculptures and some real fun ones for my photographs. This picture is the beginning of some experiments for what I have in mind. I am more alone now , because Joey is finishing his sculpture he freelanced, and I am doing alot of thinking.

Been working hard on a movie called 'September'. it is an Oliver Stone film. Not much fun, but it pays the bills as we say. Sculpting with about 15 sculptors to make a replica of ground zero in N.Y. Not sure if this will be a good film, because i sure feel weird sculpting it. Been doing alot of photgraphy too, and really loving it. I am so tired,I will try to write more.....

Been Hanging at the house for a while. got a few freelance jobs, one designing some dolls, and another working on a hula dancer from another artist. Been doing alot of thinking, and want to buy a house. Been taking pictures like crazy too. Having alot of fun with that. Been quite, really not much to say. Joey is working on a neat sculpture that is really cool. It is a sculpture of early man life size for a photographer. We have been doing great.

Joey and I took a bunch of neat picturesthis weekend. Been wanting to take pictures of his wonderful eyes for a long time. I start a new job tomorrow doing a sculpture of a wolf for the Jeopardy Game show. Hope fully I will be back on Pirates soon. It has been nice to catch up on things at home and be with my dog. I always worry about him when i am at work. He is getting older. I ordered a new printer and scanner,I should be getting it today. I am also doing sketches for some dolls this friend of mine wants to create. So staying busy is always good.

Long time no write, I know. Anyways , been working on Pirates 2& 3, just finished working on the organ that one of the pirates plays. It felt good to be back at work, and doing what I love. I am hoping the year will end much better than the last one. I made barely any money in the last two years. Now that I am settled with my ex, I can move forward, and I feel so much better about what my future is bringing me.My old camera dropped and broke, so Joey bought me a new one. It is really cool, and I love it. The pixels are more, and I can get really close. my photos for the LA fair were rejected, but there were over 2,100 entrants, and they could only take 300. So I don't feel bad at all. Was hoping one picture would have made it, but next year I will enter better pictures anyway! Might have another job coming up. Will find out soon. Gotta keep the money coming in. I want to get ahaed, and try to buy a house someday. Prices are insane, so I am waiting till next year.

Got hired yesterday On Pirates again with Jamie. I am glad to be there, and am very eager to show everyone that I am going to always be early and on Time.I know I am going to get some cool stuff to sculpt. This picture is from last January. It is funny there at work because there are so many people hired, and I haven't seen most for a couple of years. I am hoping on getting my benifits back soon. I love sculpting so much, and was even thinking of getting into doing CGI work too. I will be entering my pictures at the LA fair this year, and hope to do OK . More later.

Thought i had a job on Mission impossible 3 as lead sculptor, but they gave it to someone else. I wonder who and if it is a man. It makes me so mad they would not give me this opportunity to prove myself. I am fully capable of sculpting sculptures in any size and of anything. it would have been Vatican sculptures too, right up my alley. I would have been so happy.. if they only knew that I would have done a great job.I just wonder if it was because I was a woman.??

Here's a picture of Dad. He looks great huh? Been kinda taking it easy this week. Hoping for a job to start up soon at Paramount. I want to lead sculpt the for the movie 'MI3'. The construction cordenator said it was Vatican stuff.Can't wait! It could mean months of work. If i don't get it, then I will be hired working on a Clint Eastwood film. So things are looking good.

Back home In California. Everything went so well for my Dad. He came out of surgery with flying colors.Took a lot of pictures there. You can check them out by clicking on mkm3d logo under each shot here. Things seemed to happen so fast, got the settlement from my ex and then left for Florida the next day. i was there a whole month pretty much. Visited with my family, and enjoyed the sunshine. I was so happy to see my folks at thier 50th wedding anniversary, it was so fun. I danced all night.Joey showed up towards the last week, so it made things even better. More later!

Had to go to Florida to see my Dad in a hurry. He had to have open heart surgery last Friday.I have been here almost two weeks and will stay here till the end of the month. Dad is doing very well, and we will still celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary.
Things seem to happen all at once for me. I finally settled with my ex-husband and received my settlement. It was such a nightmare to got thru and he was such a jerk to drag it out for 3 years. I can't understand why he needs money when he married his millionaire wife? I guess he was always greedy and vengeful, and I never knew it. So now I can move forward with my life. I was so depressed because there was little work and I was getting buried in debt. Now I will concentrate on my sculptures which I will show by the middle of next year. I will be sure to advertise as so all can see. I feel that my new life will become prosperous and exciting. I can create without fear of money. When my ex left me , he said (when we were talking) you should sculpt now that you are alone. I said'Art comes from the heart, and mine is broken". Now I am healed, my heart is new, and my life can move ahead as planned. What a stupid delay for all those years I had been thru. I have work lined up and sculptures to get done. I might even invest in stocks and real estate to make more of a living where my Joey love and I can buy a house of our dreams witha big studio. We can finally sculpt and become famous. Ya, I dream big , and I always will! It is so releiving to be able to be free from my past and never have to think of that ex-husband again.
I hope he reads this and knows--he left me! He was to blame for our divorce! He claims it was me. What a idiot! He does even have the brain to remember what he has done and the pain he caused me. Tony-- What goes around comes around, and I know you will get what you deserve!
There done, I said it. Wewww. Now where wasI ? Oh yes,......My love for Joey, and my love for my art. I am stronger now than I ever was. I will now move forward and smile again.

Hey all,
Alot has happened. I finally gotmy settlement from my evil ex-husband....so all can be done that I need to do to make my dreams come true.I have had very little work, but I think it is because they are jealous. So I plan to do fine art and master CG on the computor.
As the goods news came in , the bad came with it. My wonderful father has to have open heart surgery on Friday. He is 74. I love him dearly and flew out to be with him and myMom and family to support this whole thing. It is scarey and I have the feeling he will be OK. So whomever reads this, please end your prayers our way. I chose this picture because it symbolizes rebirth, and I know that I will grow from this. I want to be a fighter, and finally get ahead in the world. I want to make my fater proud of me. I am so upset that what I wanted to do and be in my life , I did not do---------------yet. I wish that i can see what the future holds, but none can answer that. I must know in my heart that this is what it will be. Please stay tuned for the news and my progress.

Been more serious about photography lately. I really enjoy it, seems to make my heart race. A Lot of things are going on, doing art for people who don't pay--finishing my ex's life and getting rid of his greed. Work is slow-- but things wil change soon. I feel better that a chapter of my life is ending. I have many dreams, and I believe them ...... you will see.

Finished a few jobs, now just waiting for money to come in. Saw this great sunset the other day, and couldn't resist catching it. Sunsets and sunrises are so fleeting and unpredictable with such nuances that it seems to be the favorite thing for me to capture on film. There have been many days where I don't even look outside, but mostly I do. I finshed my Dalai Lama, and Joey is painting it for me. We are doing really good lately. He broke his hand last week ,and is now at the Doctors. My back is hurting me real bad to where I can't breathe. I will be seeing my Chiropractor Today. At the end of the day , after all is done , I like to look at the sky , and marvel at it beauty. What a gift......

Finishing a sculpture of the Dalai Lama for a commercial. Seem to be getting odd jobs, and not very many.The person i am doing this for wants more sculpting work, which is great. Tommorrow i go to Paramount and sculpt a 10ft sculpture for the promotion of 'War of The Worlds'. I will be working with my friend Abu. There are not very many sculptors I can work with. Our union has about 70, and we compete for work all the time. There are a few who always get work,and they have their groups of people they always hire. I am a specialist, and am known for my figurative work. people don't think I want to do anything else, but I do, and they never call to find out. I hate it when people assume things like that. Or that thye judge you , and put a label on you that does not reflect the wide range of abilities that you contain. My saying is this--"If I can see it , I can sculpt it". I think if people would know this , than they would call me for more work. I do love the figure and I feel I do a good job at capturing it. I am glad for knowing and being with my boyfriend, for he is very good too. He has inspired me to be better, and with his art has helped me overcome my insecurities. I feel I have traveled a long road to get where I am at, and have had the biggest of heartbreaks, and let downs. I just want to be sucessful, and not worry all the time about money. It takes money to be sucessful, and I am barely making any. I know soon that this will change , andI will be able to have my dreams become a relality. I don't know who reads these things, and wonder why I even bother to write. Maybe it is for me to put down in writting to see it come to be, and look back with awe.

Life is a funny thing. When you think things won't work out, they always seem to with the narrowist of margins. I hate Febuary because it is so short, and just when you get done paying all your bills, they are back again--UGH!
Got a little job doing a sculpture of the Dalai Lama for a commercial. it came to me just in time.
Have a picture of my sweetie up because we have been getting closer. It has been 3 years now, and we are still learning about one another.
The skies have cleared up, and the rain has finally stopped. Maybe all my worries will subside...;0)
Thinking more about my siter, and my aunt. My sis, has to have her one good eye operated on, and my Aunt has to get bypass surgery. So all my worries are gone, and are now focused on them. I hope it all goes well, Just as the sun peeks thru all the clouds.

It has been raining for days now. When it slows down , I run outside and take pictures. Work has become non-existant. When I was working , I got calls everyday. Now I just pass time either writting, or sculpting. I am working on a new piece of sculpture, it's actually old, but not done yet. I will post it when it is finished. I hope to have it done in time for my parents anniversary in june. It will be their 50th.

This weekend was good. Saw Sandra -my step-daughter. We BBQ ed in the backyard, and later Joey and I enjoyed the backyard and jacuzzi. Finished my job for a T.V. show called Medical investegation. I just sculpted rubble, nothing to write home about. It was work and I needed it . I hope more work comes my way soon. I get kinda depressed when I am not working.

Now things to have slowed down some, I have time to catch up on my writting. I am not sure what the future will bring, but I know it has gotten better. i am looking forward to making this new year a happier, and more profitable place. I need to get my own artwork done, so I can show you what I do. It's just hard when your at home, and money is low, and your mind wonders to all things but.I look at the sky alot, if you haven't noticed, and take notice of the small things around me that are beautiful. I enjoy my friends and family, and the companionship of my dog. My boyfriend Joey and I are doing well, and are planning to move soon. We will see. Things are not set yet right now to really know. I guess that is how life is.

Seems life has turned for the better for me. Been working hard on "Pirates 2 and 3". This photo is for the Black Pearl ship.They are redoing it so it will sail. The last one was just parts and a model with some CGI.It is really exciting to be back at work and have people respect my talants.I love what I do and am greatful for the chance to do what I love doing. Still taking pictures of sunsets, and admiring the life around me.Take care, I will try to write soon. Working 12 hour days, I don't get to be on my computor as much. Heres a picture of me and my best friend. Things are really starting to look up for me. They were down for so long with not getting any work, and waiting for my equity. Now I start a new film called Alfa Dog. Just making some big rocks out of foam that look like Vaquez rocks.Bringing in about 5 people to help me out cause it is going to be alot of work. I am just happy for the work. I am so tired of not having enough money, and oweing everyone money. I will miss my buddy here,cause I spend my whole day with him by my side. Joey and I are doing better, and since we are renting , we are gonna look at houses to rent cheaper or buy. Our lease is up in January.

Here is the final sculpture of Sam kinison for the movie "Dominoe".It is done in 4 lb yellow foam, and stands 10 feet tall. I had a friend help me carve it, His name is Abu.It took about 2 weeks to do. It will stand on a base that is 4 ft, and will be placed in front of the DMV @ Needles Ca, where he died in 1995.The scence in th movie should be about near the end of the film.

This has to be one of my favorite pictures.I found it crawling on my sofa, so I picked him up and carried him outside,placing him on the leaf.I ran to get my camera, and was thrilled with the results.I oftn walk around the backyard looking for him, but haven't seen him in a while.Isn't this a wonderful shot?I have it as a screen saver on my computor too. I have some new inspiration for doing some paintings in oil.It is a series of sky paintings , but done where it is more abstract, and when you look at them you will feel the sky, but not know where in the sky you belong.I have many pictures that i love so far, and haven't decided which one will be first. It should be fun to do, and they will be of a good size.Maybe 60 by 60 inches or more.I will post them when they are near completion.I hope to start soon, but I am in the middle of a film-Dominoe, so i will think about it when I am done.

I started a new film called Dominoe. I just finished the maquette for a full size sculpture of Sam Kinison. i start next week,it could be up to 11 feet tall.After that they want me to sculpt a Virgin Mary for a church. I am hoping that this will lead to more work.I will post it when done.

Well, things seem to have come around where I finally got some work.It has been a tough few years for me. No work barely, and still trying to get my divorce over with. I am so happy that I got this job.It is for a movie .I will update you with a picture when i can.I was so down , I mean really down, and now I am feeling like the world is going to give me a break.I shouldn't complain, there are people who are worse off than me. I am optimistic about my future, and hope all my dreams will come true.Just will keep on going on, and cherish what I have, believing in my self and my talent.Not that anyone seems to be reading my blog, I hope you all get your dreams coming true too.

Hey All,
This is new to me,but here it goes.....Since the film industry has slowed down in California,Hollywood that is, Work for me has been very slow.Since I am a sculptor and have been doing this for 14 years, I have always had work. Lately months crawl by, and the bank account goes dry. I know it's not because I am not good, I am very good at what I do, and fast. I guess I am hoping on getting people interested in my sculpture work somehow, and letting them know I can do any kind of sculpture, except wood and stone. Maybe remind them to give me a call. Well i hope everyone else is doing good.
